Depok, February 21, 2025 â€“ ÖйúPÕ¾ (UIII) is taking proactive steps to enhance its quality assurance system and prepare for the establishment of new study programs. This initiative was a key focus of the meeting held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the UIII Rectorate Building, discussing the document alignment of educational quality assurance.

Led by Suparto, Ph.D., Acting Head of the Quality Assurance Center (PPM), the meeting gathered together leaders and staff from the units of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Human Resources, as well as Legal and Organizational Bureau (OKH), and the Office of Student Affairs and International Services.

Three primary topics discussed were Internal Quality Audit (AMI), Service Satisfaction Survey (SKL), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for opening new study programs. Suparto, Ph.D., emphasized the need to integrate AMI and SKL data into a centralized system as part of UIII’s strategy for international accreditation.

The discussion also covered plans for Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) training, aiming to involve more personnel to increase the number of internal auditors and improve AMI implementation.

Regarding AMI, the 2024 audit instruments were deemed more refined than those from previous years, though further enhancements are needed for 2025. The most significant areas requiring improvement include academic advisor satisfaction surveys, exam question review mechanisms, and appeal processes for assessment results.

Meanwhile, the SKL results indicated a relatively high satisfaction level among students, faculty, staff, and partners. However, there is a room for improvement in employee service satisfaction.

Hatta Auliya, S.E., Head of Legal and Organizational Bureau, noted that adjustments in the employee system had been made in 2024, including salary adjustments.

One of the most critical discussions revolved around the SOP for opening new study programs. Dr. Phil. Syafiq Hasyim, MA, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, highlighted differences in requirements between State Universities with Legal Entity (PTN-BH) and State Universities  with Public Services (PTN-BL), stressing the cruciality for UIII to focus on the requirement for PTN-BH.

The meeting also discussed the preparations for opening new study program, including faculty sufficiency for each program. Muammar Kadafi, Lc., MA, Head of Academic Administration, elaborated on aspects related to the Semester Credit System (SKS), Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), and Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 53 of 2023.

Through these initiatives, UIII is strengthening its quality assurance system and gearing up for the challenges of international accreditation. The improvements discussed in the meeting are expected to enhance academic and service quality within the university.
