Staff members of ÖйúPÕ¾ (UIII) participated in the ISO 31000:2018 training program on Risk Management held on March 6-7, 2025, in West Jakarta. The intensive training aimed at enhancing the participants' understanding and skills in risk management, particularly in implementing Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at UIII.

The training featured a speaker from DISI Training Center, Encep Heryani, M.Si, who provided in-depth insights into international risk management standards. The participants included four UIII staff members: Hatta Auliya, S.E., Head of Administration at the Directorate of Organization, Staffing, and Legal Affairs; Regiani Yunistika, M.Ed., and Yusuf Anbar Firdausi, M.Hum., from the Quality Assurance Center; and Rahma Octaviani, M.Ak., from the Directorate of Learning and Assessment.

In the event, the participants engaged in sessions covering an overview of risk management and opportunities, risk management processes, risk and opportunity management in ISO 9001:2015, and an in-depth understanding of ISO 31000:2018, as well as explanations of ISO 31000:2018 clauses, an introduction to the Kaizen concept (continuous improvement), and case study discussions.

Additionally, the UIII staff members were also equipped with skills to minimize risk impacts in SPMI implementation, optimize university resources, and reduce potential failures in the quality assurance process through effective risk identification and mitigation. With proper risk management, established quality standards can be consistently achieved.

Through this training, UIII aims to strengthen its risk management framework as part of a broader effort to enhance institutional governance and ensure the continuous improvement of its quality assurance system.

As an international university, UIII seeks to create a more resilient academic environment, mitigate potential challenges, and uphold high educational standards in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
