In its effort to contribute to and become a reference for further advancement of economic thinking and practices which are relevant to Muslim states and societies, UIII develops the Center for Economic and Islamic Economic Research (CEIER). This center aims
to become a recognized reference in this development by actively producing and disseminating frontier research findings on important Islamic economic topics.
