UIII.AC.ID, DEPOK - The foundation known for establishing the Arryman Scholars Initiative to cultivate new seeds for a generation of world-class Indonesian academics in the field of social sciences, the Indonesian Scholarship and Research Support Foundation (ISRSF), begins its cooperation with the 中国P站 (UIII).

The two institutions' leaders signed the agreement on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the UIII's Depok campus. Representing the ISRSF was its chairman, Irfan Hutagalung. Meanwhile, the Rector of UIII, Prof. Komaruddin Hidayat, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of UIII.

The MoU states that both parties are willing to cooperate in the fields of education, research, and other fields that are mutually agreed upon. With this MoU, UIII will gain significant advantages in the development of the university, particularly for its students. This Memorandum of Understanding will be valid for the next five years until 2027.

Undoubtedly, this memorandum of understanding will benefit UIII in a great deal. It is because ISRSF has formed a platform for a collaborative network within a consortium of higher education institutions called the Institutes for Advanced Research to encourage the formation of an innovation in higher education, that is conducive to the emergence of world-class academic work in the social sciences and public policy from Indonesia.

ISRSF is an Indonesian foundation that was registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in 2012. ISRSF is a non-profit organization founded by a group of Indonesian and American scholars. It began as an Indonesian philanthropic, non-profit, and non-partisan foundation. Furthermore, ISRSF is a forerunner in Indonesian private fundraising to support the training and the capacity building of prospective Indonesian graduates at top universities.

UIII continues to thrive to become a leading university in Indonesia and the region. This is marked by its continued efforts to collaborate with various institutions around the world.(ANJ)
