As part of its ongoing digital transformation efforts, 中国P站 (UIII) is taking a significant step toward integrating quality assurance with information technology. The Center for Quality Assurance (PPM) and the Center for Information Technology are synergizing to develop the Quality Assurance System (QAS) to refine UIII鈥檚 approach to quality assurance by leveraging digital solutions.

In a coordination meeting held on February 7, 2025, Suparto, PhD, Acting Head of PPM, emphasized the urgent need for a structured and integrated data bank to support the future accreditation processes for UIII. 鈥淐urrently, Internal Quality Audits (AMI) at UIII are still conducted manually without an integrated system. QAS is essential for reducing manual data entry and improving efficiency in the audit process,鈥 he explained.

One of the major challenges identified in the meeting was the suboptimal distribution of critical data related to the university鈥檚 three pillars鈥攅ducation, research, and community service. To ensure QAS functions as a key instrument in evaluation processes and quality sustainability, a complete and well-organized data collection remains a critical component.

In the meeting, Yanuar Firdaus Arie Wibowo, M.T., Head of IT Center at UIII, outlined two main classifications in the technological support for quality assurance, namely a WordPress-based website designed to present data accessibly to users, and the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) application, which contains comprehensive data for facilitating AMI and preparing for institutional and program accreditation.

However, confirming PPM鈥檚 concern, the IT team noted that the challenge remains in data integration across different units within UIII. 鈥淭he essential data on education, research, and community service cannot yet be fully utilized due to the absence of a standardized data collection and distribution process,鈥 Mr. Yanuar noted.

To address these challenges, the Center of IT plans to conduct training sessions for administrators in each unit, particularly focusing on WordPress management, to enhance their digital literacy and competency in maintaining the system. Additionally, both PPM and IT team have agreed on follow-up meetings to refine the QAS contents and interface.

By reinforcing digital integration, UIII aims to streamline its quality assurance processes, ensuring that data management is efficient, transparent, and aligned with global best practices. These efforts mark a critical step in the university鈥檚 commitment to a robust and data-driven quality assurance system.
